Early Life
H.E. Mr. Said Ahmad Ashrafi serves as the Consul General of Afghanistan in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, representing the interests of the Afghan government and providing consular support to Afghan nationals residing in the Kingdom. His leadership reflects a commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia and ensuring effective services for the Afghan community within the consular jurisdiction.
Career
The Consulate General in Jeddah serves Afghan nationals living across the western regions of the Kingdom. Under Mr. Ashrafi’s leadership, the mission works to protect the rights of Afghan citizens, support their needs, and contribute to productive diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
Present Role
In his capacity as Consul General, Mr. Ashrafi oversees the consulate’s operations, including:
Providing consular services and assistance to Afghan citizens in need
Facilitating documentation services such as passports, visas, and civil affairs
Promoting cultural, social, and economic ties between Afghanistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
